Description
A significant free-form sterling silver centerpiece, composed of three large, finely chased vine leaves joined by an elegant network of intertwined tendrils. The leaf surfaces, rendered with remarkable realism, display delicate engraving and chasing work that reproduces the foliage's veining with extreme finesse—a hallmark of the Buccellati House's craftsmanship.
This naturalistic composition, inspired by Mediterranean flora, perfectly illustrates the refined style developed by Gianmaria Buccellati, where virtuoso silversmithing meets great decorative poetry. A true tabletop sculpture, this piece bears witness to the excellence of the Milanese workshops and the tradition of 20th-century Italian silversmithing.
